Is the application competitive?
For SID flagship — yes. We curate for variety, quality, and a strong representation of Somali-owned businesses. Other festival days have more flexible vendor space.
Do you accept non-Somali vendors?
Yes — about 25% of our vendors are allies and adjacent communities. We prioritize Somali-owned businesses and quality fit with the festival.
What if my business needs a permit?
Food vendors need a Minneapolis Special Event Food Permit ($75). We help you file it. All other vendors are covered by our master event permit.
Refund policy?
Full refund through April 30. 50% refund May 1–31. No refunds after June 15, but you may transfer your booth to another vendor with our approval.
